I’ve been a lifetime lifter, taking only a few short breaks over the course of the past 30 years. The gym has always been my go-to for stress relief and relaxation. People consistently asked me if I competed, and I would always say no. When I turned 48, I went to the Olympia in Vegas and came home with a determination to take my body to the next level and do one competition before I turned 50. I came across Brian Chamberlain’s name on the plane home and called him to see if he could get me to that next level. He wrote up a plan and I stuck to it. Two months in, as luck would have it, I tore my hamstring. I couldn’t work lower body for a while, but Brian coached me through the recovery and by March of 2019, I was ready to pick up the pace again. The next three months were grueling, but during that time, Brian shared his extensive knowledge, and provided solid coaching, clear guidance, and positive words of encouragement. He answered all of my questions and was honest with feedback. Brian helped me sculpt a body that anyone would be proud to go on stage with! On June 22, 2019, I competed for the first time at age 49. I went in with no expectations of winning, but left with a few first place trophies. Brian truly knows his stuff, and on top of that, he is an absolute pleasure to work with. His drive and belief in me kept me going when things got tough. I’ve recommended him to so many people already and will continue to do so. I can’t say enough good things about him. Give him a try! You won’t regret it.– Sonya Pritchards
The day I met Brian Chamberlain, I knew I had met someone that was genuinely going to help me meet my goals and beyond. He was very matter-of-fact and I knew that if I listened and absorbed everything---I just might finally be successful at meeting my goals of weight loss. Little did I know that my little science experiment would result in 40 pounds lost and a love for the way my body was responding from eating clean and exercising 6 days a week. It's been three years and I have kept the weight off with renewed vigor to work my body harder every day. I still continue to follow Brian's recommendations on eating and exercising and find myself a happier, healthier, person with a new zest for life and enjoy my abilities to inspire others through kind words and encouragement that were originally and thoughtfully bestowed upon me. Someone believed in me---I now believe in myself and would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to reap all the benefits that come with a new YOU and continuous goals to strive to be even better each day.– Julie Campbell
Friends always considered me to be the athletic one in the group. I was the long distance runner, the golfer, and the bowler. But when my body hit 53, things changed. The pounds started inching on. Dissatisfied with exercise DVD's and trying to diet on my own, I began training with Brian in 2006, when I was 56. I signed up for a 12 week weight training and nutrition program and soon learned I had been fooling myself for 30 years. At the end of the 12 weeks, I was 25 pounds lighter, leaner and stronger. Because of Brian's emphatic DON'T QUIT!! Along with his expertise and creative ideas of nutrition and weight training, and my willingness to work hard, Brian has enabled me to commit to and maintain a complete lifestyle change to clean eating, portion control, proper nutrition and exercise. Not only has my bowling and golf game improved, here I am in my 61st year, eating right, lookin' better, feelin' great and workin' my butt off because NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS A HARD BODY FEELS! ...Just ask my husband 🙂 – Kate Verbeke
When I hit my highest weight of 193 lbs., I was so unhappy and knew that something drastically needed to change. With the support, knowledge & guidance from Brian Chamberlain, I did just that. I was not only able to drop the weight and get my life back, but also achieve one of my life-long goals of competing in a figure competition. Thanks Brian!– Dawn Braunius
I have had the pleasure of working out with Brian for little over a year now. I have worked with several trainers in the past and Brian is the first that could actually manipulate and change how my body looked. When I competed in my first show, my biggest obsession has always been my abs. Brian worked with me and got them to a place where I never could.. The thing that I admire the most about Brian is that he constantly stays in touch with you. He doesn't just give you a routine and a diet and you go, he follows up and emails you to make sure your on track.– Trish Boas
Working with Brian Chamberlain has been the edge I've needed for the past few years to help push myself to the next level and towards my dreams of being competitive within female bodybuilding. There have been two main struggles that I am getting better at conquering with Brian's help, one being my love for food and another being my confidence to see my potential and believe in myself. Brian has been working hard on finding ways to tame my love for food and with each competition I have been getting leaner and dieting off approximately 40lbs. of body fat. He is able to give me the right guidance and support I need emotionally when I normally would turn to food. Upon first meeting Brian about 10 weeks out from the 2009 NPC Pittsburgh, I thought he was going to tell me good luck and send me on my way. I was literally a fat mess and he still saw a good shape and some muscle size under it all and right that day got me on a program to get me into the best shape of my life. Brian listened to my crying in his office, smiled while I complained, had an answer for very question, had a reason to every demand, and never gave up on me when I wanted to give up on myself. He gave me the strength to get through the most cardio I've ever done and the hardest dieting I've ever done and in turn I won the middle weight class and the overall title. He truly sees more potential in myself then I do still today but that is what keeps me going when I want to give up. In this sport, this lifestyle, every athlete has those days and Brian is my strength to get through them. I've realized that he counts on me as much as I count on him to put in the work, time, and effort and that makes us a team. I've recommended him to a few other athletes who have also used his expertise and found success towards their goals. He is my trainer but also a great friend and mentor to me because this sport doesn't end when you walk out of the gym for the day. I am now a nationally qualified athlete thanks to Brian, and working hard with him towards achieving professional status.– Jennifer Harris 2009 Pittsburgh Women's Overall Winner
Brian has been my personal trainer for almost 5 years now. The results I have achieved to date are largely due to Brian's perfect combination of diverse training methods, individualized exercise and nutrition programs & challenging yet achievable goal-setting. Through his consistently positive feedback and passion for the fitness lifestyle, he has motivated me to improve and transform my physique to the next level. His professionalism, extensive knowledge and enthusiastic commitment to his work and ultimately his clients, provides the perfect scenario for success. I would never have been able to reach my goals without his help and guidance. I can't thank him enough for all he does. Brian is simply, "the best in the business"!– Antonio Marin Vargas
I have been working out with Brian for about 15 months now, and have been completely transformed. I have become both physically and mentally stronger, and have become addicted to training because of his ass-kicking's. Brian Chamberlain is more than a physical trainer he is a great motivator too.– Buddy Glatz
